How long does handmade soap keep?
I would recommend keeping your soap for 6 to 12 months, due to essential and fragrance oils, your soap should be kept in a cool dark place.
How long should a bar of handmade soap last me?
Soap should last approximately 4 weeks depending on how often you use it, and how well you take care of it.
Can soap go bad?
Whilst soap cannot go bad, it can go past its expiration date. Natural handmade soaps will not last as long as chemically infused commercial soaps due to their natural ingredients. It will lose moisture and fragrance over time, don't buy a year's supply at a time, use within 6 months.
Are your soaps natural?
Our soaps are usually derived from vegetable oils, glycerine and other natural ingredients making it an excellent choice for all natural products.
Does handmade soap melt?
If it's left in a warm place or in sunlight then it can become soft and lose its shape.
I have sensitive skin, are your soaps safe to use?
Our soap is suitable for most skin types due to it being glycerine rich which offers more soothing and hydrating properties for your skin. However if you are highly sensitive I would recommend an unscented soap from my range.
Do you use essential or fragrance oils in your soaps?
I use both in my designs. Specific ingredients can be found within the product description of each soap.
Are Your Soaps Vegan?
Nearly all of my soaps are vegan, only ones with honey, goat milk and donkey milk would not be classed as vegan.
